A "new" car

It's official. Life in college 4 hours away from home stinks when you have no car. Especially when the closest Wal-mart is half an hour away as well. Fortunately I just might be getting a car sometime very soon if I'm lucky.

A man in one of my classes yesterday asked me if I had need of a car. Of course I told him yes. He told me that his neighbors have a car that they want to get rid of and they are looking for a poor college student (like me) to give it to. What do you think of that!

I called the owners and talked to them. It sounds like the car is in pretty good condition. I don't know why they're getting rid of it, but if they're going to give it to me, I won't complain. Now the only problem is arranging how I will get there so we can work out some details. We're still trying to work that one out.
